WTA Wagering : Keys vs Ivanovic Free Pick

WTA Wagering : Keys vs Ivanovic Free Pick

One of the better events for WTA wagering this weekend is the Keys and Ivanovic matchup.  This has the makings of a three set war.  During our analysis of the match, we have uncovered some key points that seem to slant the match more than the lines do.  Madison is currently the favorite near the -155 level.  So close out the bar and come home to rail some early morning profit in the Australian Open.

After this third round match, the winner gets a non seeded player next.  This seems like an open invitation into the quarters and boy does Madison need it.  Here, she made the semis last year and has to defend a ton of ranking points here.  It is a classic matchup of power verse finesse.  Madison has a good serve and deep power on both sides.  However, her footwork is still clunky.  In the heat, conditioning also comes into play if the match gets to the third set.  Shevdova took advantage of these factors in pushing Keys to a third set in the second round.

Home Crowd Favorite

Ana gets the crows most of the time down under due to some family being here and her formerly dating pro golfer Adam Scott.  At 28, this is going to be one of her last chances to make a good run.  With only Serena and Azrenka being on the elite tier, Ana has the game to beat everyone else if she can get it all together between her ears.  The mental game has been spotty.  Emotions on sleeves, opponents get a charge when she is down because Ana shows it.  However, in this tournament, her matches have been business like.  She is ready and rested for this one.

3:00 Am is the start of this one.  There are only two ways to attack this.  -155 is too much juice on Keys in this one.  Either she wins in a blow out or Ana takes all the close ones.  Spread wagering on Keys or the Ana ML near +140 or so.  Our money is on the #20 see Ivanovic winning this morning.  Good fortune in this and we will see you tomorrow here at the HRW.

NHL Free Pick : St. Louis at Colorado 1/22

NHL Free Pick : St. Louis at Colorado 1/22

NHL Free Pick 1/22

Last time out, our NHL Free Pick nailed the underdog victory by the Blues over the Red Wings.  Now St. Louis has to go west to the thin mountain air of Colorado. The Avs stand in their way.  Why is St. Louis the road favorite in this one?  Good morning and welcome to HRWager.  We will look at which way to invest right now here at the HRW.

NHL Free Pick : St. Louis Shots

Key stat here is that while the Blues have won three straight that their shot differential is horrid. 67 shots they have taken while yielding 117.  Quality has something to do with it but few teams can continue to withstand this type of barrage and have success.  Their defensive rotation is a shambles.  They had only five healthy bodies against the Wings.  With the lack of oxygen in the air, their defense will be even more taxed tonight.

Colorado on a Roll

Power play has been cashing in at over twenty percent clip as of late.  Want a piece of historical trend to hang your hat on?  9-26-4 is St. Louis in Colorado.  This is about as good as it gets.  Both teams are nearly close in record.  Each team is riding a hot streak but that shot differential will spell doom as soon as the Blues get tired.  Tonight is the spot for a lean to take place.

History and current events collide in this one.  +100 is the price you can get on Colorado.  This is much better than a coin flip tonight.  Positive expectation so high that a double wager could even be warranted.  Good fortune in tonight’s action and we will see you tomorrow here at the HRW.

Bulls at Boston NBA Free Pick for 1/22

Bulls at Boston NBA Free Pick for 1/22

Bad time for the Bulls to have Pau Gasol show his age.  Good afternoon and welcome to HRWager.  We have a NBA Free Pick for Friday evening that plays right into the fact of attrition and identity crisis of the Chicago Bulls.  They have to go to Boston and then Cleveland right on the heels of getting the doors blown off at home by the Golden State Warriors.  Why did this happen?  How is Boston ready to make their move in this one?  -4 is what the Celtics open up as and we will examine which side of the fence your investment should be on for the game on 1/22.

Bulls Underdog in Boston

Bulls opened up at +4 against the Celtics for Friday.  Part of this is due to the fact that who knows what Bulls team will show up.  Defense is what will carry them against Boston but they are so loathe to return to the stodgy days last season.  Rose was the only one who showed up against the Bulls  Oddly enough, it is how they are going to handle the back up Boston center that may well determine this.

Kelly Olynyk Has Range

NBA Free Pick 1/22

His uptick in production has been what is keeping Boston afloat.  They are also in a defensive swoon as the effort has been lacking.  Kelly has produced on average nearly 17 points per game recently. Much of this has to do with him throwing darts down from three point land If he can continue to hit them or even go beyond the line, this greatly eases the offensive burden on the others.  This will create the space necessary for Boston to get easier shots  The Celtics lack a certain degree of creativity but in space they should flourish enough to do well Friday Night.

Pau Gasol went the bagel from the floor against Golden State.  He has done wonders in his age but can not stand up to concentrated duty in a condensed scheduled.  If he rests here than the Bulls suffer.  Trot him out and the same thing happens.  There are just too many ways for the wheels to fall off for Chicago in both Friday and Saturday’s game.  Boston effort pays off and they cover the -4 at home Friday night.  Good fortune and we will see you tomorrow here at HRWager.
