March Madness : Upsets Fuel Big Pay Days 3/19

Underdog betting brought March Madness bankrolls to new heights here at HRWager.  All day long did the little teams reign terror upon established programs on the court.  Good Saturday morning and welcome to the HRW.  Today, we will recap and revel in the longshots coming through for all our customers.  Let us see the extent to which the public ruled the roost on Friday.

March Madness : Spartans Never In It

Not only did Middle Tennessee cover a sixteen point spread but they won outright 90-81.  This was no fluke as they romped to a 15-2 point run to start the game.  Even with that, there were moments in live wagering where MSU almost closed the gap and had MT as a ML underdog.  Off the ball defense and movement were lacking by the Spartans.  When their star did not have a big game, the supporting cast could not contain the tide as Middle Tennessee kept hitting their threes.  This softened the Spartans to be exposed in the interior.  ML’s in the area of +1500 scored in this one.

It Did Not Stop There

Although this was the largest shocker of the day, it was not the only one.  Let us look at see all the carnage laid out in order to truly appreciate the prowess of the underdog on Friday.

  1. Hawaii Crushed #4 seed Cal 77-66
  2. Stephen F Austin beat a #3 Seed in WVU 70-56
  3. Northern Iowas beat #6 Texas 75 -72 on this shot

Thank you to DonkeyKonk1 on Youtube for posting this dagger in the West to close out the carnage Friday Night.

This is why sports speculation during March is so popular.  Little teams bring big bucks and plenty of adrenaline to the table.  All out action compacted into the course of a Friday.  Saturday and Sunday could bring the same.  Make that deposit today and revel with your friends while lining your pockets today.

NBA Tip : Golden State at San Antonio 3/19

NBA Tip : Golden State at San Antonio 3/19

NBA Tip 3/19

Our NBA Tip for 3/19 features the team with the best home record in the NBA.  Shocked to hear that it is not the Golden State Warriors.  While they do not have a blemish this year, the Spurs are even better this season.  36-0 at home compared to GS’s 34-0 means that the Spurs are an iota closer to that perfect season.  Tonight, it might all come to a rest but the linesmakers are wagering it does not.  A -3 to – 3 1/2 point spread is where this titanic battle is at right now for our sports speculation interests on 3/19.

NBA Tip : Thin on Big Men

A key facet stresses the differences in styles this evening.  Golden State romped in the first game between the two in part because Tim Duncan was not playing.  This time it is the Warriors that are thin on the front ranks.  Two key injuries will limit their effectiveness tonight.

  1. Andre Iguodala and his ankle are out.
  2. Festus Ezeli’s foot is flaring up.

This leaves a perceived flaw that the Mavericks attempted to pounce on last night.  Dallas went right at Bogut with all sorts of pick and roll plays.  Golden State won the battle 130-112 but might have lost the war for this one as Bogut’s toe is sprained and his status is doubtful for tonight.

Big Effort

Dallas did the Spurs a huge favor last night.  We all see 18 point blowout but it tells little of the story.  Mavs ran all night and tried to out small ball the Warriors.  Their premise was that they would catch Golden State looking ahead.  For those that watched the game, the outcome was in doubt until the last few minutes when the dam finally gave way.  So this is as good as it gets situationally for the Spurs.  Parker does not need to dribble penetrate nor can he as proven last time against Golden State.  Feed the ball to Leonard and Aldridge.  Focus on perimeter defense and wear down the Warriors tonight.

Conflict is with the Warriors tonight.  Steve Kerr joked after the Dallas win that if he had any guts that he would sit the whole team out for this one.  People are flapping their gums saying that GS is tired of hearing that they have not won in San Antonio since 1997.  Desire is in the heart of the players but the flesh is weak tonight.  Another day to break the streak as the Spurs romp in this environment.  Free Pick of the Day are the Spurs -3.  Good fortune and we will see you later here at the HRW.
