Arizona Boston : MLB Free Pick of the Day 8/12
Surely David Price can not be made to suffer more this summer in the Arizona Boston opener at Fenway. HRWager welcomes the weekend with one of our favorite fades. This Red Sox’s ace has not been living up to his large contract. However, he gets the down and out Diamondbacks who are already playing out the string. Red Sox are now three games behind in the division and sitting in third place. They can not afford to lose this series. Arizona Boston : Bog in Beantown
Hot weather at Fenway with temps near 90 and even after the projected afternoon rain, the humidity should jump right back up. Price is on the mound and part of the -250’s ML is because Corbin of Arizona is the opposition. No momentum with a WHIP over 2.00 for the Diamondback starter. He is over 130 innings and leaks runs every time out for over a month. Not one shutdown performance. Control issues with 11 walks has his ERA over 6 in the last three games. So we look at the run line for Boston for potential relief of a -250 ML region.
Oddities
Odd that not only is Arizona 5-5 in their last ten but have a winning record on the road. 48-66 and over .500 away from Arizona is a head scratcher. This team has to come down to Earth from this level. Total is 9 1/2 and has had interested betting but not enough polarization to push it off this mark as of yet. RL Boston is near -120 for a great difference near 130 points. Still chalk and price but much more digestible.
Three game sweep over the Mets saw the Diamondbacks bats come alive. With Price on the mound, they should do some damage. Over 9 1/2 has appeal as well as the Runline for Boston. Under no circumstances should a bettor just bet straight Boston ML tonight. This is a quick doom long term for your bankrolls. Go with the – 1 1/2 Boston or the over 9 1/2 for a wild one in Beantown.
