Baltimore Minnesota Pick to Profit On 7/28

AL East division leader has their Baltimore Minnesota Pick predicated on the momentum of their turbulent starter.  Good Morning and glad to see you here at HRWager. Few starters can be as up and down as Ubaldo Jimenez.  He has world beater stuff on one occasion and can phone it in for the next few starts.  Now his start tonight against the Minnesota Twins is being met with some skepticism from our linesmaker.  Find out how he apprises the situation and what pivotal fact months before has reared its ugly head for this 7PM start in Minnesota!

Baltimore Minnesota : Make Up Game

May 9th now seems more important looking back in retrospect.  This was a rainout between these two teams.  Instead of opting for a double header, they moved the game back to this date.  Hard for the O’s being that they have played every day since the All-Star break with this supposed to be their day off.  Now they have to travel to Minnesota for one game and then pack up and go north of the border.  Nerves are already frayed as their big bats have gone silent nursing a two game lead over Boston.  This is a lot to ask for a team that is 5-5 in their last ten to overcome.

Control Issues?!

Jimenez has been horrid of late but has not started since July 8th.  He was giving up walks by the boatload with nine in his last ten innings pitched.  His WHIP has eclipsed two over his last three starts.  Can not see how his control issues just come back now.  Minnesota is losing but at least showing the heart to battle back.  They fell behind a lot to the Braves last time out and mounted a furious comeback that came up a tad short.  So we have a team still trying against one that might be looking ahead at Toronto.

Baltimore is near a +105 underdog for this one.  Totals are at 9 1/2.  Over would normally be the play but do we trust Baltimore to show up.  Go with team total over on the Twins side of the ledger.  Good fortune in this selection and we shall see you next time here at HRWager.
