Baseball Prediction : Detroit @ Baltimore 5/12

Baseball prediction 5/12

Power baseball is at the center of HRWager’s baseball prediction for May 12th.  Today we have a slumping (15-18) Tigers team continuing their road trip as they visit Baltimore.  The O’s lead the AL in home runs and have been on a tear hitting them as of late.  This does not bode well for a Detroit team that has been giving them up more often than in previous seasons.  Find out which team is favored and what the optimal sporting investment is for this Thursday 7:05 PM EST start!

Baseball Prediction : ML and Totals

A powerful combination had our eyes flicker to the projected totals in this one.  We expected an inflated number and the overnights produced one. 9 runs was quickly bet up to 9 1/2.  At his point, a tad bit of money came in to correct the odds not back to 9 runs but making it a tad more expensive to hit the under @ 9 1/2.  Today’s starters have a lot to do with all the movement.  Jimenez for Baltimore has an over 5 ERA in his last three starts with a WHIP of 1.61.  Pelfry of the Tigers is even worse during the same stretch.  So in a projected offensive shootout, is Baltimore a -164 ML favorite a solid investment?

KO’ed

What happened to the Tigers last night was a complete shutdown of a thought of effective offense?  Does even an average offense allow itself to get struck out twenty times by any pitcher?  They hit two homeruns but nothing else in a 3-2 loss @ Washington.  Detroit has lost eight out of nine and we should be talking about the firing of the Detroit coach.  Only the owners advanced age and wanting to see one more winner will keep Brad Ausmus in the helm these days.

Confidence is gone from this Tiger’s lineup.  Pelfry is struggling for Detroit on the mound.  All of this makes for an easy runline investment on Baltimore.  -1 1/2 +110 for a red hot Baltimore offense is ideal for your baseball investment this evening.  Good fortune in our baseball prediction and we will see you later today here at the HRW.
