Boston Seattle MLB Expert Pick for 8/4

Boston Seattle

Red Sox are seeing in the Boston Seattle series that their old bats are finally tiring out.  Good Morning and thank you for checking in with us here at HRWager.  The AL East is quickly becoming a two team race as the Red Sox 3-7 slide has put them in third place and three games behind division leading Baltimore.  With Toronto ahead of the also, Boston can not afford to squander opportunities like facing a rookie starter tonight. Let us see what our linesmaker thinks of this game and examine where the profit is at with our MLB Expert Pick for August 4th.

Boston Seattle : Reaping the Rewards

Seattle has had a hard time trying to convince fans that they have not been sold down the river with this team for the remainder of the 2016 season.  With three pitchers dealt for younger arms and prospects, the fortunes of the Mariners dim this season.  However, we get to see if the future is now with Ariel Miranda’s coming over from Baltimore.  Understandably, Boston opened at the -150 level but the betting went the way of Seattle to the -140 mark on the road team here.  Has to be the Boston starter and an inflated total that is getting in the way with this one.

Mixed Messages

Total in this one started at 8 1/2 and has gotten slightly more expensive on the over side as the day has progressed.  This is rather odd considering that Pomeranz has leaked runs at a rate of 7.53 ERA with a WHIP of 1.67 in his last three starts.  These combinations of the market do not have any unity behind them.  There is a hole here which we will strike.

Boston is in the middle of a west coast string where their bats have gone oddly silent.  They are the road favorite against a Mariner making his home debut after a trade.  Hanley Ramirez is hurt and likely out for this one.  The Red Sox starter has been horrid as of late.  All of this and the total is just at 8 1/2.  Runs will be plentiful in this one.  Expert picks is the over 8 1/2 runs with underdog fans getting their groove on with the Mariners ML in this one.  Good fortune and we will see you next time here at HRW.
