Boxing Tip on Pacquiao vs Bradley III on 4/9

HRWager gets to say a fond farewell to Manny Pacquiao with our boxing tip for April 9th.  The 37 year old legion is supposed to be hanging it up after this last fight at the MGM Grand.  All of Vegas will be watching the third installment against Tim Bradley.  The first two fights were split with Bradley winning the first via split decision.  Manny came back in 2014 to give Tim his first pro loss.  Will Pacquiao ride off into the sunset and is the smart investment going to be in this 3PM fight?

Boxing tip 4/9

A trio of factors make this a hard road to ravel for Manny.  He is 37 years old.  11 months has been the last time he is in the ring.  Shoulder injury probably limits the pop he can inflict.  So without his trademark putaway power, what chance does he have in this one?  A good one because the judges are going to give Manny the benefit of the doubt on the cards.  It is his last fight and that specter of the split decision loss will be in the minds of the judges.  Few want to see that result of a split decision by either side transpire again.

Transformation by Teddy Atlas

Tim Bradley felt he needed a change.  He went with a trainer change from Joel Diaz to Teddy Atlas.  This move paid off dividends right away.  Bradley destroyed Brandon Rios with a ninth round knockout in November to improve his record to 32-1-1.  Most importantly is that Teddy can help Bradley cope with an ultra aggressive Manny.  The legend heard all the criticism heaped on both of them in their ultra cautious bout with Floyd Mayweather.  Manny wants to stay in the political realm after his boxing career.  What better way to do this than to go out with a flourish!

The two main wagering lines are on who is to win and how long will the fight last.  Manny is a -221/+176 favorite to win by any means.  The over under in rounds is at 10 1/2 with the over being heavily favored with a -327/+291.  We really think that Bradley has upped his game and added the power element missing in his past.  Manny has that straight left that scores points and keeps Tim off of him at the same time.  Pacquiao may want the knockout but he is not going to get it. Wager the over to go the distance .  With that length of the fight, Manny wins by points.  Bet on these on Saturday and enjoy the fight from your friends at HRWager.
