Can Curtain of Distraction Curtail Oregon? 1/31

Visitors feel like they have fallen down the rabbit hole when they visit the Curtain of Distraction.  It is the calling card of free throw thwarting from the Arizona State Sun Devils. Meanwhile, bandwagons all over Eugene got crammed to the gills with the Ducks win at Arizona.  Not only did it grant them the conference lead but ended the Wildcatss 49 game home winning streak.  Now the battle is on to fight the letdown when they travel to Arizona State.  For the Sun Devils, the push for any post season appearance would be bolstered with a win against a Top 25 squad.  Which way will the winds of profit blow with the Ducks only being a -2 road favorite this evening?

Oregon Worries

curtain of distraction

This is not about individual matchups but the formula of a bad spot.  Two superstitions are at play here.  First is the good old letdown after a huge win.  Secondly is that when Oregon has faltered in conference, it has been at the hands of lesser conference teams on the road.  Oregon State and Colorado have been the venues for the stumbling blocks for the team from Eugene.  That is the most common belief at the small spread in this one.

It is called the Curtain of Distraction and it is one of the more effective and amusing things a college crowd has done in a while.  Last time out, the visitors had to deal with a shirtless gold medal winner to the nth degree in the stands helping the distraction factor.  This make go to even greater heights as Oregon is one of the worse free throw shooting teams in the league.  What else could pose a problem for the Ducks is the Sun Devils recent form on defense.   They did a number on the Beavers from Oregon State and won the game going away.

Easy pick in this one.  The win against Arizona at their own house was huge for Oregon.  Conference could be theirs and it gave them more momentum to work hard.  No let down this evening.  Ducks play up to their potential and cover the -2 here.  Good fortune to your sports investment today and we will be back tomorrow for more quality advise on how to profit from sports speculation.
