Cardinals @ Royals Baseball Bankroll Booster for 6/28

Cardinals @ Royals

Cardinals @ Royals represents a baseball bankroll booster for HRWager friends this evening.  Mr. Beanball returns after an eight game suspension.  Yordano Ventura takes the bump for the Royals.  The fiery KC starter is the one real wild card in an otherwise rock solid franchise. St. Louis gets the test his mettle and see how much rust is on his game from the layoff.  How did the market react to an opening -120 ML on the hometown Royals for this June 28th 8:15PM start?

Cardinals @ Royals : Used to It?

Ned Yost made an important point when it comes to his starter tonight.  Those at the major league level are already used to dealing with this type of delay between starts on an annual basis.  The MLB All-Star game interupts the routines for most and they come out fine in form.  This was part of the reason why the line has moved only marginally in the overnight action.  More of the concern for this one is the nagging health issues that St. Louis has had to go through all season.

Thin Ranks

Aledyms Diaz can not open his eye at this point.  A foul ball struck home plate and went straight up into his eye.  An awkward injury to a player who is having a good season.  Monday saw him get two more doubles before going down.  Needless to say, he is anticipated to be out for this one.  Pena’s status behind the plate might be in doubt.  He is the former Royal who took Molina’s place until he regains his health.  Pena has had a gimpy knee and catching three days straight is hard so early after healing from it.  Needless to say, they are going to have to lean on Wacha to be lights out for the Cardinals this evening.

Wacha is enough for tonight.  Last three has seen him get a WHIP of just 0.89.  2.11 ERA has not been hurt by his seven walks.  If he keeps them down then St. Louis should win.  Look for the direct approach with him going after the KC batters.  The HRWager Free Pick of the Day is the St. Louis ML.  Good fortune and we will see you later today here at the HRW.
