CFL Steam Alert : Kevin Glenn Gone

Most of the reason why Montreal is 1-1 at the start of the season is Kevin Gleen.  Alouettes’ Nation is surprised at the progress this signal caller has made since training camp.  Preseason saw MTL try out 8 different signal callers before giving him the job.  Well, Kevin has missed practice the last three days with an eye infection.  Now the reigns of the offense is being given to Rakeem Cato.  Even though he has gotten the snaps with the first team these last few days, this is an extreme drop off for the Alouettes offense in this one.

Now we look at the game.  Opening line had Montreal as a one point favorite.  When speculation broke that problems with the eye started to surface, the line started to shift.  It has been a pretty steady flow of speculation down only one path.  Now Hamilton is the two point road favorite here.  Totals have also dropped with the news.  49 to 47 points has it dropped too.  This is sharp money that is acting on the information.
