College Football Free Pick : Utah Takes Center Stage

ESPN2 will be host to our hopeful money making College Football Free Pick.  Utah (1-0) and Utah State (1-0) clash in an inner state rivalry which sees the Aggies as a +12 favorite.  Recent line movements have been in favor of Utah State driving the spread down from + 13 1/2 to where it is right now.  Is the move warranted or should your investment go for the Utes?  Read on to see which way HRW recommends for your profiteering this evening at 9PM.

College Football Free Pick : Limiting Booker

college football free pick

Devontae Booker was one of the surprise break out backs in the NCAA’s last year.  He got over one hundred all purpose yards against Michigan but was not the force we had expected.  Remember that porous defense Brady Hoke put out last year.  One game into the Harbaugh era and we expected improvement but not on the scale which they restrained Booker.  Now he has to face a Utah State team that has a strong front seven.  They have two mountain west all conference LB’s and a defensive lineman that can push into the Utes line.  Look for some steady gains but no real jailbreak rushing attempts from the Utes in this one.

Get the Qb on the Move

Got to get QB Chuckie Keaton on the move.  The Aggies QB had a lot of rust and it showed ina 12-9 win over a FCS school.  This will not do against the Utes but according to sports talk radio in Utah the gameplan by the Aggies will help him.  He has good mobility and they will use it to horizontally stretch the defensive front line of the Utes.  Time and some holes will become available to uplift his game to where it should be at this stage of his career.

Line move of + 13 1/2 to +12 is spot on.  Rivalry game with an in state school is one thing but Utah plays like the Wolverines of old.  Ball control will help win them the game but not a double digit cover by the Utes. Still room on the profit train for this one.  The HRW College Football Free Pick for this one is Utah State +12.  Good fortune and we will talk to your tomorrow here at HRWager’s Blog.
