How to we tell that College Football is almost here? Good Morning and welcome back to HRWager. 64 coaches have weighed in about the power structure for the next season. Before we can break it down, we have to look at the complete body of work the 64 votes have assembled. Bama and Clemson at the top are not a surprise. Clemson has a ton of talent coming back and the Tide have earned the benefit of the doubt as the best program in college football.

We Have a Problem
Houston could crash the power five stranglehold on the championship playoff. Yes, we realize that ratings have a lot to do with what teams go where in the preseason poll. So when their first game is against Oklahoma, it would behoove the industry to put them near the top ten. Secondly, who is the oddball that gave Tennessee the benefit of the doubt with a first place vote. While not wasted, it is optimistic to see them run the gauntlet. Pure headlining grabbing material there.
