One of the main factors going for the USA is the venue. They could not have drawn many better sites than Seattle for this QF. Dubbed Soccer City USA, Century Link Field will be packed to the rafters with home naiton fans. Most avid sports enthusiasts are familar with the stadium as the Seattle Seahawks call this home. In tandem with this is a very recent result between the two although be it in a friendly. USA beat Ecuador May 15th 1-0 but both nations were using it more to stretch legs and evaluate talent than a true test of strength. But this will be playing in the minds of both nations going into this one.
Red Card : New Lineup
Jurgen went with the same lineup for all three of the group games. Now that DeAndre Yedlin got a red and is a no go for this one. Not only that but the USA has a bevy of seven players sitting on yellow cards for one more game before they come off the books.
