What an Elite Eight Free Pick awaits for HRWager readers as Kansas takes on Villanova.  Both teams have taken this tournament by storm.  Kansas dismantled a varied and potent offensive attack of Maryland.  Villanova reduced Miami of Florida to three point shooting and routed them by pasting over 90 points on them.  This is a Saturday start at 8:49 PM with Kansas being a -2 point favorite for this battle of the titans.

Talent combined with work produce tangible results.  Villanova jumped out to a large lead and only had to weather four three pointers in a row.  Other than that, it was an academic 92-69 rout.  Not only did they get to loose balls but out rebounded the Hurricanes by ten.  All three levels did we see shooting proficiency.  They shot the deep ball well, hit their free throws, and are their usual stellar self inside the paint.  A tough out and it is a disappointment that the only team really playing as well as them right now is the Kansas team they have to face on Saturday.

Seventeen in a Row

Kansas is sporting a seventeen game winning streak headed into this one.  Against Maryland, they outrebounded them by a wide margin.  They have athleticism and balance are nearly undefensable.  Foes can not pack in the lane to prevent penetration as they crush from the three point line.  The creation of turnovers by their speed might be the difference here.  Eaasy buckets mean so much in the battle of equals.  Wayne Selden and Frank Mason will gamble with good results coming up much more than not.

There has been movement early here.  – 1 1/2 Kansas has gone to – 2 1/2 on the Jayhawks.  Total of 145 has remained steady within a half a point.  The difference here is that Kansas is better adept at creating easy buckets via turnovers.  This might be the game of the tournament so enjoy this early holiday special.
