Final Four Odds Set After North Carolina Romps

Final Four teams finally saw a top seed punch their ticket in the last game of the Elite Eight.  Good Morning and welcome to HRWager.  We were witness to an absolute shocker in not only a 10 seed getting past their regional but coming back from a 16 point hole against a #1 seed.  This was the level of futility the favorites experienced until North Carolina blew the doors off Notre Dame 88-74 to close out the action.  Let us now look at the Final Four Odds to cement our winnings and welcome April next week.

Final Four Odds : April 2nd

Oklahoma takes on Villanova (-2.5) in the early game tipping off 6:10 PM on April 2nd.  Here we have a horde of talented players against the country’s best in Buddy Hield.  Those whose said that he could be draped had these hopes dispelled as he went off against Oregon for 37 points.  A dominant performance by both him and his team had Oklahoma up 18 at the half and cruised to a 80-68 win.  Meanwhile, Villanova smothered Kansas 64-59.  This team took out the JayHawks leading scorer to take out the overall #1 seed in the tournament.  Now we get to see if the Wildcats can do the same to a more gifted scorer who is running hot going into this one.

Two minutes of very effective zone defense turned the tables as Syracuse complimented this with lights out shooting.  All of this allowed them to dig out of an 16 point hole to come back and beat Virginia to get to the final four.  Richardson in his freshman year shows no fear as his relentless driving set up a 15-0 run.  Now the Cinderella from the ACC gets to face another conference titan in North Carolina.  Tar Heels might get to -10 or beyond favorite status for the 9PM game on the 2nd of April.  They dismantled the Fighting Irish and have many more weapons. The chances of them going through a power outage like Virginia is very slim indeed.
