Firekeepers 400 Free Pick 6/12

Firekeepers 400

Firekeepers 400 is one of the upcoming races where NASCAR is testing a whole bunch of rule changes.  Good morning motorsports fans as HRWager is anxious to see what effect all the alterations will have starting at 1PM on June 11th.  Sunday will see if the desired effect of making it more about the driver than the machine will become a reality.  With last week’s upsets at Pocono, we found that drivers like Martin Truex could not hold onto their momentum.  Where will the profit roll into in this race on Sunday?

Firekeepers 400 : Consistency

Kurt Busch has parlayed a season of epic consistency into that big win at Pocono last week.  Out of fourteen races, he has only not appeared in the Top 10 twice.  This makes him still a very good consideration for head to head wagering. His 2015 win was his third at Michigan International Speedway. Who else is up their in consistency is Dale Earnhardt Jr!  His four runner up places are the most of anyone this season. While qualifying by overall points so far, he has to capitalize on this run here least he hit a snarl and have a summer downturn.

Outsiders Worth Noting

Joey Logano is a machine at this venue with six Top tens in a row.  He has also sealed the deal winning once in that spurt.  We are really noticing the trait of long streaks of top tens either in a row or at a certain venue.  It allows for easy selections heads up to be placed.  For someone that few are looking at, Austin Dillion has a long resume here at Michigan.  His penchant to crash as of late has his ride not as stable as it should be.  However, this will work more for us as it drops whom he has to face in the heads up betting at the books.  Take him for the surprise for an underrated selection by the books.

1PM is the where Fox Sports 1 should be on your television.  With the rule changes in effect for this week, the pack should be more clumped together.  We want consistent performers in this week’s event to gauge the alterations by NASCAR.  Logano, Kurt Busch, and Austin Dillion comprise above average value in the heads up wagering portion.  Good fortune with the Firekeepers 400 and we shall see you on Sunday here at HRWager.
