Most of the -3 line movement has gone Auburn’s way but has gravitated back and forth for the most part. Few will doubt the motivation for Memphis in this one. Not only a big step for the program but a vital NFL audition for top prospect QB Paxton Lynch. He should torch an Auburn team that has a very porous pass defense. So the question comes down to whether Memphis will be able to stop their SEC foe in this one.
Even Worse on Defense
How can this Memphis team be here with defense this bad? They allow over 270 yards per game just through the air. Bad thing is that Auburn can not throw if their life depended on it. This was seen by having generated less than thirty plays that went over twenty yards. There is no jailbreak aspect and this is why the total has gone down in this one.
Total started at 64 and has dipped to 63. Reason is not that either team can stop each other but that these schools will take a while to do so. In particular Auburn who will grind this out. Even though we love the Memphis ML, the total is an even better proposition. Plunder the under 63 for your investment to see an increase in this one.
