Game Six Preview : 1,500 + Games
A career playing for a franchise that has never even gotten to the finals. Patrick Marleau has had to contend with this frustration for over 1,500 games in his playing career. This franchise has had remarkable success for not even reaching the last plateau. 2nd most wins since the 2003 season but could not get to the promised land. The pillars of this new found playoff push should continue this evening.
- Good Power Play
- Excellent Play from the number one line
They have ridden this to the point of a 3-2 series lead and see no reason to change up tonight.
Flip flopping on the goalies once again will be seen tonight. Ken Hitchcock has put Elliott back in goal after yanking him two games prior. What he really needs to do is change his approach and appeal to Vladimir Tarasenko. The Russian was superb coming into this series but was starting to pout at the end of the last series over playing time. Coach played hardball and Tarasenko has tanked to the tune of zero points in the series. Without his efforts, the Blues will be very hard pressed to push the series back to St. Louis.
17 for 60 on the powerplay for the course of the playoffs. No one has found a solution for this and do not expect to see one tonight. Had the Sharks played a team that has had a recent run to the Finals then their lack of experience could be a factor tonight. Alas, St. Louis also has a reputation for not sealing the deal. Sharks with home ice and incredible energy from the fans get it done. Our HRWager Free Pick to profit by is the Sharks ML. Good fortune and we will see you later today here at the HRW.
