Giants-Red Sox Preview Plus Free Pick 7/19

Giants-Red Sox

Rare treat for Boston fans as the Giants-Red Sox game is at Fenway today.  Good morning and welcome back to HRWager.  Only one other time in interleauge play has San Fransisco ventured up to Boston.  Now for this game in the series, the Giants put Jake Peavy on the mound.  He has many years experience dealing with the nuiances of Fenway.  Two top tier teams clash but the ML is heavy on the home team.  Which way points to profit for this 7PM game on the 19th of July?

Giants-Red Sox : Peavy Start Away From SF

Jake had at one time been masterful.  Winner of the NL Cy Young in 2007, he has lost touch with his command in his final few years.  This season has seen him go 5-7 with an over five ERA.  Making matters worse, the road gives him even more pitfalls.  Some of that should be mitigated because of his time in Boston but it is easy to see why the Red Sox opened at -160 and have been bet down to -175.  On the totals side, it opened at 10 1/2 and has been bet down to the ten that we see now.

Bombs Away

What is really impressive about Boston in this situation is that the RL on the home team has been bet all the way from -1 1/2 +120 to +100 just on the overnight lines.  A great deal of action expecting a very decisive result today.  Two factors play into this. Porcello is dominant at home going 8-0 here.  Boston is also aiming for their fifth win at home.  Offense usually leads the Red Sox to victory.  When both factors are this strong, even a quality team like the Giants can be heavy underdogs.

Hot weather has lead us to all sorts of investment chances today.  TT on runs over Boston has great appeal.  RL on the Red Sox is good but the return is only +100.  Either one of these options have a high expectation of return today.  Good fortune in your baseball options today and we will see you later on here at HRWager.
