Houston Baltimore : MLB Free Tips for 8/20

Houston Baltimore

Offensive explosions the last two nights for Houston Baltimore as they meet again tonight at 7PM.  Weekend is here and it is great to see everyone checking in here at HRWager.  Big Bats were supposed to be the salvation of Baltimore but starting pitching could not get a win with great run support.  Five runs and then eight were met by the rotation of the Orioles letting in double digits in each of the first two games.  Lots of steam in this one and we are just not referring to the weather.  Find out which facet of betting on this game on 8/20 has been almost out of control here at HRWager overnight.

Houston Baltimore : Fiers Fade?

Normally a Mike Fiers road start is a fade to victory.  He shut down the Tigers in Detroit to end July but road starts at Toronto and Minnesota saw him let in his usual allotment of runs.  This is where one has to perform their due diligence with him.  Three game momentum patterns that we adore do not work as well with him because of an even stronger pattern.  He has been well above average at home and dirt poor on the road.  With the problem with the Orioles not being run support, the total for this game has gone almost in one direction.  Upward from 9 to where it is at 9 1/2 right now.

Tilman’s Shoulder

This is why the total has gone up but the ML has not moved much from -140 Baltimore.  Tilman has had a good year and does better at home.  His last three starts have been in line with his season stats.  However, he has lost days and a start or two because of a shoulder.  Does this mean he is more rested or will lack something tonight?  No reason to take the moneyline on either team with this much in the air?

Key is the totals.  Up at 9 1/2, it still has value but a strong Tilman could prevent this from being a lock.  Instead look at the team total aspect.  Over on the hot Baltimore bats combined with Fiers on the road looks rather appealing.  Orioles TT on the over is your path to profit.  Good fortune and we will see you next time here at the HRW.
