Ohio Derby has a favorite near 5-2 called Mo Tom.  Direct lineage of Uncle MO, this horse has ample ability but has been snakebit.  Part of the concern is that he has more trouble than his brethren in traffic.  The Risen Star had an exhausted horse collide into him half way in the race after tiring itself off of a blistering start.  Louisiana saw their Derby have a horse steered right into the path of Mo Tom almost as if on purpose.  He finished fourth there.  It can wear on a horse that might have a long memory of this.  Look for a quick start to avoid trouble.  Will his kick be weak at the end from the projected overstart he is going to take to avoid traffic.

Thatlookonyerface is double digits at 10-1 right now.  What is deflating his odds is a lack of results on dirt.  Synthetic tracks are right up his alley of late.  This gelding won the Grade 3 Marine Stakes.  It is learning how to race and seems fully developed now.  If the horse can take to the dirt then one has the exacta ingredient for an above average payday on Saturday.
