Looking Forward to the NBA All Star Game

One of the more profitable futures out there revolves around the NBA All Star Game.  The player to win the MVP is usually a more win open race than those in the Super Bowl and other sports.  Last three years saw guards take down the coveted trophy.  Will Kobe be bestowed a fifth All-Star MVP?  Who has some of the better odds and chances to take it down?  HRWager looks forward to this Valentine Day Basketball future!

Bye Bye Melo

Carmelo has the all star mark for most three pointers made but this could fall with all the minutes Curry is expected to play.  If he is on, the promised shooting display could break the long distance record.  With that comes big point totals which is almost always the path to the MVP award.  What could hurt him is a team mate?  Russell Westbrook takes most every occasion he steps on the court to play at full speed.  The two of them on the court at the same time could diminish each other and allow someone from the East to snatch the award.

Home Court Advantage

NBA All Star MVP 2/14

With the NBA wanting international expansion, the home town Raptors have two players in contention for the MVP.  Kyle Lowry will start for the East at guard but it is his team mate that is coming off the bench that will get more serious MVP consideration.  DeMar DeRozan has been having a monster season as the Raptors are up to the fifth best record in the entire league.  Lowry has to go against Paul, Westbrook, and Curry while DeMar gets to feast on the second team.

Wait until the futures come out at HRWager and then pounce on DeMar deRozan.  He should have a good price due to him coming off the bench.  The league are looking for reasons to highlight their franchise North of the Border.  This piece of NBA hardware is an easy way to do so.  Good fortune and we will see you next time here at the HRW.
