March Madness : Thursday Action 3/24

March madness 3/24

High quality action awaits HRWager investors when March Madness resumes on 3/24.  All the upsets on the first few days has now been concentrated in certain venues.  The ones that will be hosting the games on Thursday are not those.  We have a plethora of high seeds with the lowest participant on the court being #5 Maryland.  The HRW will look at the games, current spreads, and see if there has been any concentrated wagering on one side in these four great games on Thursday.

March Madness : South Regional

Here we have all the top seeds surviving with the exception of #4 Cal which got crushed by Hawaii in the first round. Now here are the games and the spreads as of press time.

  1. Villanova (2) vs (3) Miami Fl +4 at 7:10
  2. Kansas (1) against (5) Maryland + 6 1/2 approx 9:40 PM

This is the one region where the top two seeds have not looked vulnerable in the slightest.  Villanova gets a very up and down Miami squad.  Meanwhile, the Jayhawks face a Maryland squad with many options to run up the score but have under performed for most of the year.  High Quality basketball is what the South will have for us on Thursday.

West Region : Miracles

These teams have needed miracle finishes to even get through this point.  Flaws are in abundance for us to exploit and make a tidy profit in these games.

  1. Oklahoma (2) vs (3) Texas AM +2 1/2 at 7:35
  2. Oregon (1) takes on (4) Duke -3 late game near 10 PM

Both favorites in these games have seen the lines shift by a point making them a tad bit harder to profit by.  Northern Iowa utterly collapsed against the Aggies.  However, it takes two to make this happen as Texas A&M had to hit their shots also.  They get a Sooners squad who squeaked by VCU in the second round.  The surround Buddy strategy is working as Oklahoma had to work hard here.  If you believe in momentum playing a significant role ten the Aggies + 2 1/2 would be the way to invest here.

Oregon also looks strong against Duke.  Blue Devil depth is shallow and the Ducks can wear them down.  Being in the West region should bolster the Pac 12 teams chances in the nightcap.  Good fortune in these games and we will see you tomorrow here at the HRW.
