Mets Giants : Sunday Night Baseball Pick

Mets Giants

Teams on the verge of collapse meet when Mets Giants take the field for ESPN Sunday Night Baseball.  Great to see all of us on this Sunday here at HRWager.  We had our Lock of the Week come through for us last night at +140 for our bankrolls.  Now we have to NL teams that are limping their way out of August.  Mets in particular  as they are under the .500 mark.  So let us see if the overnight action on the Giants is the correct path to trod on for profit in this 8PM game tonight on 8/21.

Mets Giants : Cespedes is Back

NY’s outifelder just got back from the 15 day DL and crushed a home run last night that was one foot short of the park record in San Fransisco.  Here is a video on YouTube via Cubans MLB that demonstrates his ability to carry his team offensively.

Now he gets Samardzija to tangle with in San Fran.  Outside of a stellar start at Miami, his recent starts has shown his vulnerability.  6 walks with a WHIP of 1.13 in that span includes the Marlins results.  If he can pitch around or even put Cespedes on the base via a walk, he should escape allowing a projected three to four runs for his work tonight.

Market Price

Total of 7 1/2 has remained steady.  Part of this is the indecision about how the Mets starter will do.  Syndergaard has an almost five ERA in his last three starts.  He is right at 140 IP and the coaching staff has been limiting his innings to around six.  His outings are extra hard on him because he goes deep a lot in the counts because he is such a high strikeout pitcher. In a bubble, he is clearly the better of the two pitchers but with the Mets tiring and his counts deep in the season, it is understandable why the Giants are getting more interest in the overnights.

Free Pick for ESPN Sunday Night Baseball is the Giants.  Work around Cespedes and the Mets offense will do their usual stall.  Syndergaard might shut them down but he will not be in there for the entire game.  Giants ML for your profit tonight.  Good fortune and we will see you later today here at the HRW.
