Here is where the 2-4 team was showing some improvement. Blew the doors off of Saskatchewan and then had the expected regression by BC beating them by 20 in Montreal. But hold on! Fumbles killed this team as they muffed the 2nd half kickoff. Only down by five in the final quarter, Glenn hit a wide open receiver that not only coughed it up but was returned for six. Porous offensive line would normally be a great concern but they are going against a below average Edmonton defense.

Mike Reilly is typically on the move so he gets lower sack amounts compared to the real damage he feels. Ottawa tenderized the Eskimos qb and even took four rough the passer infractions to boot. So with bad line play on both sides of the ball, Edmonton might be a tad over rated spotting a touchdown in this one.
While both can spin last week’s failures, each has valid points for some minor improvement. Montreal has a younger team with Kevin Glenn who is actually progressing nicely. Edmonton has been the biggest disappointment in the league. Decent effort against Ottawa but the RedBlacks are not the same team with Burris at QB. They are a shell of their former selves.
