NBA Free Pick : Boston at Clippers 3/28

NBA Free Pick : Both Teams Hot

Boston comes into this one riding a four game winning streak and being second place in the Atlantic at 43-30.  This surge has countered the slump before that has seen them go 5-5 in the last ten.  Clippers have also righted their ship with a pair of wins at the Staples Center.  This puts them 4-6 in their last ten.  LA is playing minutes getting their post season rotations set as they are far enough ahead of Memphis (4.5 games) to not lose their home court advantage against them in the first round.  As to Blake, he comes back after three more games and then has to get into game shape.  This is an awful element for chemistry in the future but not tonight against Boston.

Phoning it In Out West

Boston won by three points at Phoenix to start a five game road trip.  Celtic three point shooting was woeful at 8-29.  Unlike the Clippers, Boston’s positioning is nowhere from secure as all the way from the 3rd seed to the sixth are clumped together.  Most look at the Suns game as an effort to save energy for the tougher games like this one.  The interesting dynamic for this one is the energy that Boston brings to three point defense.  They lead the league in this stat and will need to keep sharp as JJ Reddick in particular has really good games against them in the recent past.
