First time the Pacers get to face him since he left to go to the Spurs. While losing him could not be called beneficial, it did help the franchise get out of a mode that was not producing results. Now they are uptempo and have a 16-10 record during the adjustment phase. Paul George has upped his point production and leadership skills for 2015. CJ Miles has found an identity and more of a role with this team. Pacers are one of the small surprises this year.

With Aldridge and West coming in, the Spurs slowed down even further. They have been defensively spot on for most of the season. Is it an antiquated approach like Memphis has found out? We shall see but it is physically harder on those teams. Leonard is finally coming into his own as the Big Three have seen their minutes cut to preserve them through the long regular season. This team is over five points better at defense than the next closest in the league.
Two types of teams can get to the Spurs during the regular season. Sharp shooters like the Warriors can expose them via spacing and open shooters. The other is in the mold of the Pacers.
