NBA Free Pick : Portland at Houston 11/18

HRWager’s NBA Free Pick takes a look at two teams in turmoil.  While one team showed its backbone with a good defensive effort, the other had a player’s only meeting to discuss their feelings.  Both are in the midst of losing streaks but the good news is that someone has to win.  HRWager has the betting angle for that high expectation of profit when wagering basketball.  Sit back and see where the road this prediction will take right now with the HRW.

NBA Free Pick : Bolstered Hopes

NBA Free Pick 11 18

Limping home on a four game road trip, the Blazers could have continued to pack it in.  A tough one point loss to the Griz was followed by allowing 71 points by half in their next game.  Going to the Longhorn State, they would next have to take on the Spurs.  San Antonio was met with stiff resistance in the form of Portland energy and concentrated defensive effort.  That the offensive punch was discouraging but the end of this six game losing streak is near.  The team still cares to throw punches as November comes to a close.

Players Only in Houston

Few believed that Josh Smith was all the problems in Detroit when he buckled down for a fortnight or two and helped out Houston last year.  They kept him around and now issues are developing on a team he is on yet again.  This coupled with the dueling identity crisis they have is maddening.  They have to slow it down for Dwight but then they rob elements of their game that are vital like speed, spacing, and three point shooting.  Without him, chunks of talent and payroll go to waste.  It is an equation unlikely to work under any coach.  This team will continue to have more downs than ups with the talent they have.

While this is the last game in the road trip.  The night off to see the sights in Texas will do Portland wonders.  Energy high once again, they will overcome the linesmakers and the +7 bestowed upon them.  HRWager’s Free Pick for 11/18 is the Blazers +7.  Good fortune and we will see you next time here at HRWager.
