NBA Free Picks : Cleveland at Detroit Game Three

Detroit is disheartened is the theme for our NBA Free Picks.  Playing well in the first two games is the only solace the Pistons have coming home down 0-2 to the Cavs.  They play inspired basketball but the experience of the Cavs came through both times.  Now on this 7PM start on April 22nd, can they at least cover a +4 1/2 spread or a Pistons ML win tonight?

NBA Free Picks : Defensive Adjustment

NBA Free Picks 4/22

How does one counter a team hitting 20-38 from three point range in Game Two?  Part of this is a testimony to the interior defense of the Pistons.  They have packed it in and dared them to beat them from long range and it appears that they have.  Now the Palace should provide some impediment in proficiency but will it be enough?  Will a stubborn Stan adjust and cover the three point line?  He might be packing it in to save Andre Drummond from foul trouble.  The Cavs can normally draw more than their fair share of fouls. This is the element that could change the Pistons’ fortunes in Game Three.

Overs in Detroit

An opener of 200 1/2 has gone down to 200 in the totals.  It is odd because both games in the regular season went the over.  Detroit averaged near 105 points and might need to get to that mark to win here.  There is a mirage effect going on in the league right now.  2-1 was the result of all three series that played on Thursday night.  Do not let this hypnotize you into thinking that this will be a de facto Detroit win because of that.  In fact, the Pistons will be seeing a more intense Cleveland team tonight than they had in the first two.

Do not let them land a punch is the Cavs mantra here.  Young team should not be given any confidence after that soul crushing 27-8 run that turned a close Game Two into a laugher.  Look for Cleveland to come out intent in this one.  Win game three and it is virtually done.  The Pistons ML should be avoided as well as the +4 1/2.  HRWager implores our readers to wager on Cleveland -4 1/2.  Good fortune and we will see you later today at the HRW
