NBA Tip : Mavericks at Clippers 4/10
Topsy Turvy last few weeks provide the perspective for the HRWager NBA Tip of the Day for April 10th. Here we have the Mavericks visiting the Clippers. Dallas how used adversity to their benefit to rattle off six straight wins. Now they are not thinking of clinching as much as seeding for the upcoming playoffs. Meanwhile, the Clippers in complete rest mode still went into Utah and beat the Jazz in a must win game for the young team. With a spread of -3 on the home team, where will the profit be found in this 3:30 PM Sunday start.
NBA Tip : W/O Chandler Parsons
Dallas gained their balance rapidly after Chandler Parsons was lost for the season. Dirk overshot for a game or two and then JJ Barea took over. 24.2 points in that stretch before he had to leave Friday with a slight groin injury. Felton and Devin Harris picked it up after he was not there. Now the Mavericks are about to clinch and could catch Memphis for the sixth seed. This would mean getting the Thunder but it is much better than facing either the Spurs or Warriors in the first round.
Everyone knows about how hot Jamal Crawford can get if given time. He got a ton of minutes Friday and poured in 30 points with the three point dagger to win it in OT against the Jazz. Cole Aldrich made himself a name with 21 points, 18 rebounds, and a rejection that made the SportsCenter highlight reel. With the Clippers in rest mode, some of the main players might get some minutes but it is an attitude of disinterest. Let the young players get the minutes here and see what they can do.
Why are the Clippers favored? JJ Barera is questionable with his injury. This is what you should have your eyes and ears out for. If he is announced as in, try to strike quickly at the Mavericks plus the points. A win here should clinch the playoffs and give hope for even a sixth seed. A wager on this game also means that you get to see more of Cole Aldrich. Seek if he can follow up an impressive performance in Utah. Good fortune in this game and we will see you later today here at HRWager.
