NCAAM Free Pick : San Diego State at Boise State 1/16

Forty six points was a common figure in the season series between San Diego State (11-6) and the Broncos last year.  Both times the Aztecs scored that amount against Boise State (13-4) and lost last year.  Now these two Mountain West Conference teams are the last two unbeaten in league play.  Sharp early money has weighed in on this late evening sports investment opportunity.  See if HRWager is in agreement with the line shifting even more to the Broncos favor tonight!

Boise State – 4 1/2

NCAAM Free Pick

This is the current lay of the land after an opener of – 3 1/2 got action going on the Broncos.  For a defensive minded team like San Diego State, the big men of BSU perplex them.  How else can one react to two large men that like to spot up from beyond the three point line.  It is a novelty act that works for the Broncos.  Worse yet is that the first time around in league play, one has to be on the court to ferret out all the permutations it takes in defending this.  System defense like the Aztecs employ will suffer against this.

Additional Aztec Option

When one plays a deliberate game, the team should rejoice when another scoring option appears.  Malik Pope lit up Moby Arena as visiting San Diego State got by the Rams of CSU recently.  Malik went for 14 points with some timely perimeter shooting in the clutch.  SDSU gets very good guard play but they need another option to relieve the pressure that they have to run at a high level to just compete in this one.

Taco Bell Arena has seen BSU win 17 straight.  True they do not get the big boys up there but they are strong contenders still for the Mountain West.  Their system is enough to make an inflexible Aztec squad uncomfortable.  Here it is enough to warrant the – 4 1/2 point spread.  Take the home team Broncos here but do not go beyond -6.  Good fortune and we will see you later on here at HRWager.
