NFL Tip : Oakland at Denver 12/13
Our NFL Tip for Oakland at Denver almost always takes in account the weather for the Mile High City. Late December usually brings blankets of snow but El Nino has disrupted the norm this season. Your friends at HRWager will examine what the weather is like and if this is the week that the league catches up on Brock. Sit back ad let us bring you our analysis on the Raiders at the Broncos for the 4PM game on the 13th of December.
NFL Tip : Weather
Colorado is due snow and cold weather but Sunday is the break that the Raiders are looking for. Nice weather at 45 degrees with less than ten mile winds in Denver is as good as it gets near Christmas. Crabtree is in a good mood with his recent contract extension. For a team that has more speed at skilled positions with a coach that will let Carr air it out, Oakland is encountering near optimal conditions. At 5-7, the Raiders are on the outside of the playoff chase but not dead in the water. Ending 8-8 should be their goal and for once they will fight tooth and nail to the end due to Del Rio’s presence as coach.
Enough Film
Brock is a game manager and now there is a heck of a lot of film available on him. The defense will have to save this game for the Broncos. Even though they are seven and a half point home favorites, this is a game they could drop to a team that has been their whipping boys for oh so long. With at Pittsburgh and hosting the Bengals, this could be the look ahead game as three teams at 10-2 can only produce two first round byes. Hosting that second round game is huge with three teams bunched together. If the flesh is willing in this one then the Broncos will show up.
Closer game than it should be. Del Rio knows Brock via his time on the Broncos staff. He also knows the staff. Odd to say take the Raiders with a high degree of confidence with the points but do so. HRWagers NFL tip for the 13th are the Raiders plus the 7 1/2. Good fortune and we will see you later on today here at the HRW.
