NFL Week 1 2019 Previews: Panthers and Seahawks are Favorites
Are you ready for the first week of the NFL regular season? If so, these two game previews will definitely help you to figure out whom to put your money on…
Panthers vs Rams Preview – September 8
The Panthers are opening their regular season at home, playing vs the Rams at Bank of America Stadium on September 8.
Carolina finished last season with a 7-9 record, finishing third in the NFC South, and this was a step down from the 11-5 record they obtained two seasons ago.
With that said, Cam Newton is one of the top quarterbacks in the league, but if this team wants good results, the Panthers should focus on protecting him, and on getting Newton the right passing targets.
The Rams were one of the top teams last season, finishing with a 13-3 record, and winning the NFC conference.
The team failed badly at Super Bowl LIII, and they want to prove their fans that they still what it takes to advance to the most important game in American football.
Indeed, LA has way too much talent not to make it to the postseason, and this road game against a powerful team such as the Panthers will prove beneficial to see where they are standing right now.

Seahawks vs Bengals Preview – September 8
The Seahawks are starting their regular-season schedule at home, playing vs the Bengals in Week 1 against the Bengals.
Despite experiencing a lot of player turnover during the offseason, the Seahawks are one of the favorites to make it to the Super Bowl this year.
New defensive faces include Ezekiel Ansah and KJ Wright, and when it comes to their offensive, Doug Baldwin retired, so Russell Wilson will have to find new targets for his flawless passes.
With that said, Russell is a top QB, and probably the main reason why this team is still considered a title contender.
When it comes to the Bengals, they opened up last season strong, with a 4-1 record, but for some reason things started to go south for them later on their schedule, winning just two more matches, and finishing with a disastrous 6-10 record.
And, just like with Seattle, this team also experienced a lot of offseason moves. The first of these was letting Marvin Lewis go (after 16 years with the team).
Instead of Lewis, they hired Zac Taylor, a former assistant for the Rams to fill the empty head coaching role.
Andy Dalton is returning as their first-string quarterback, and his top weapons this season are going to be Joe Mixon and AJ Green.
So, can the Bengals come up with another strong start? Or will they experience their first loss on their first game of the upcoming season? Only time will tell…
