NHL Free Pick of the Day : Tampa at Ottawa 2/8
Merry Monday morning brings you our NHL Free Pick of the Day. For Denver fans, this might be the cherry on top of a Sunday that was bountiful. Fear not Carolina backers, this will probably get that bankroll back to being healthy. Tonight, we have a Tampa team on a roll and one reason is clearly evident for a 10-1 surge of success. How will they fare up in Ottawa this evening? Join us at HRWager as we unveil our free pick to you right now.
NHL Free Pick : Free Flowing Offense
One goal more than normal during this eleven game stretch has the Lightning thundering across the league. Their power play has perked up as is their penchant for scoring six goals. Three times in the past eleven they have gotten to this lofty mark in a game. Tyler Johnson in particular has had the scoring touch as his deft shots have been finding the back of the net as of late. How will they fare against the Senators (24-23-6) defense tonight?
Near Panic
Edmonton pasted the Senators for seven goals and caused all sorts of panic in the locker room. Meetings were held and short term results were achieved. Toronto came to town and the Senators got in the win column. Craig Anderson has been average in goal. Their penalty kill unit has been pathetic before finally keeping the Leafs off the board. However, stifling Toronto is a far easier task than this potent Tampa Bay team.
A near -138 road favorite is Tampa tonight. This is a little chalky but let us look at the totals. Over 5 1/2 goals is in positive territory at +115 region. That is where we will mine this evening. Plenty of offense and not laying chalk for an almost equal wager to the ML. Our NHL Free Pick of the day is the over 5 1/2 goals. Good fortune and we will see you later today here at the HRW.
