NHL Free Pick : Ottawa at San Jose 1/18

Something snapped in San Jose as the Sharks were experiencing epic futility at home in the first couple months of this season.  However, now it seems all the pieces have fallen into place and this team can not get hotter.  Tonight they get to host an Ottawa team a long way from home.  Are the Sharks our ML favorite of the day to bring you home your cash?  A price of -160 is the proposition that HRWager will examine right now in your NHL Free Pick for 1/18.

NHL Free Pick : Six Straight

This is what San Jose is hoping to accomplish with a win tonight.  How did they get to the point where they can win six straight?  Joe Thornton has took it upon himself to be the offensive onus for SJ.  All but one of his last fourteen games have seen him score at least a point. The Sharks are in the middle of a seven game stretch where six are at home.  This recent rash of success is a stark departure from the 5-12-0 start to the season at home in the Shark Tank.

 

 

Ottawa Goal Tender Cold

Craig Anderson has not been playing well as of late.  2-4 with a 3.33 Gaa since close to New Years is the mini slump he is in.  Now he has the task of taming this Sharks offense that is humming along at home.  Now only that but Martin Jones for SJ is the probable starter with a less than two goal average with four straight wins. Being on the road only makes matters worse.   Fourth game out west in a five game trip.  3-10-1 is their recent SU numbers on the road for the Sens.

Price is what matters here.  A 145 difference between ML and puck line is what get us going.  -160 ML or a +185 spotting the goal and a half.  SJ is on such a roll with Thornton ringing the bell on a nightly basis that the SJ puckline is where the profit is going to be plucked tonight.  Go for the gusto and +185 – 1 1/2 on Sharks tonight.  Good fortune and we will see you later today here at the HRW.
