NHL Prediction for Panthers at the Oilers 1/10

Few in their NHL predictions saw that Florida would be 25-12-4 at this point.  An incredible wagering value but here comes that pesky Western Canada road trip.  Now the Oilers (17-22-3) play host in the frozen north.  ML Florida is near the -145 mark.  Better team and talent prevail at 9PM tonight despite the long winding road trip that the Panthers are on?

2. Florida scores 2.7 per game and relents 2.1 in return
3. Special teams headscratcher.  They let in more goals percentage wise man down than they score themselves on the power play.

Home Ice Neutralization

Edmonton is usually decent at home and even better against these warm weather teams. 9-3 in their last twelve at home is one of the lone good things to say about the Oilers.  They have lost five of their last seven.  Besides this mini slump, they historically awful the last few years on short rest.  19-43 is something a person does not want to bet into here.
