NHL Tip : Ducks at Islanders 12 21
NHL Tip from the HRWagering hockey division looks for the Ducks to ride the hot hand. Gibson was out with the flu their last game. Frederik Andersen stepped in and did very well getting the win 2-1. Look for him to still have the reins as the Ducks conclude their trip east at the Islanders. Home team is favored but not in fine form for this one. Are the Ducks at +117 are dog of the day for 12/21?
Okposo Out
Islander fans saw what happened when one of their stars missed Saturday’s game. A 1-0 loss to Arizona is quite disheartening so close to the holidays. This makes three losses in a row where the total goal output was two goals. Now they face a Ducks team with a hot goalie entering the Christmas break. With Okposo out for one more game due to a lower body injury, the Islanders are expected to come out flat for this one.
Anaheim Moves
Richard Rakell went back down to the third line as the Ducks try to put some pop in their starters. Hoping to catch that same lightning in a bottle, Patrick Maroon is back up with Getzlaf and Perry. Normally a trip to the Big Apple is a distraction but this is so close to the holiday break that the Ducks will still have focus. The top line in particular likes having those three reunited and will show dividends from it this evening.
Islanders just want to get to the break. With Anaheim rolling in on a slight surge, the wrong team is favored in this one. Can not go with PL for the visitors but the ML at +117 is ripe with profit.
