Oregon at Colorado Basketball Tip 1/17

Oregon has been taking to the road for an impressive victory.  3-1 in conference that includes a double digit win at Utah.  Here we have a Colorado team very dependent on a big man for both scoring and rebounds.  While Josh Scott is under rated in the Pac 12, Oregon has the defensive scheme that limits a player like him.  Even without the interior size, they restrained the front court of the Utes.  Expect the same situation to play out this evening.

So what can Colorado do to keep the Ducks winless in Boulder?  Problem is that this team does not excel in close games.  Utah and SMU were in their grasp and the Buffs faded when it counted.  Yes they can thump teams like Oregon State by double digits but the consistency is not there.  This is the type of team in Oregon that will hang around even if they struggle from the field.  With the spread of – 1 1/2 on the Ducks, this projected close game is another intangible against Colorado.

Special seasons are context orientated.  While the Ducks will not romp through the Final Four, this team is having an up year compared to their history.  Utah was no problem on the road and the Ducks will vanquish their road woes against Colorado.  HRWager recommends that you invest in the Ducks this evening at – 1 1/2.  Good fortune and we will be back later today with more speculation here at the HRW.
