PGA TIPS : Houston Open 3/31
HRWager clients are getting into the swing of things with our PGA Tips this week. The Houston Open roars into view starting on the 31st of March. Here we have a big course that reminds one of the Masters in Augusta. Lots of wagering opportunities. Most importantly, there are a trio of golfers that not only do well on this type of course but have momentum coming into this one. So let us see our sport’s portfolios grow with weekend with some PGA Action.
PGA Tips : What to Consider Here
Each week has courses with unique facets to appreciate. Down in Houston, the following stats have more importance in your handicapping than most.
- Greens in regulation
- Total Driving
- Strokes Gained : Putting
A massive course is at the Golf Club of Houston with a total distance of 7,441 yards. We have evening coverage 4 to 7PM on the Golf Channel Thursday and Friday. 1-6PM has CBS and the Golf Channel splitting the coverage on Saturday and Sunday. Let us see who pins on the radar and which targets need to be shot down lest they inflict damage to our bankrolls.
Pros and Cons
Jordan Spieth has been tanking as of late. His reputation still is in effect so prices on him will be over inflated. He does well in the three stats aforementioned but has little momentum. Jordan will be intent on tinkering his game to get the Masters this year. He is a pass this weekend.
Instead, let us look at these three.
- Phil Mickelson
- Brooks Kopeka
- Louis Oosthuizen
The following are all prices for heads up matches for the entire tournament. Phil has better putting stats and is showing a better swing. Traditionally, he does well on this style of course. Take Phil +107 over Dustin Johnson for the entire tournament.
Ossthuizen -112 over JB Holmes is our second investment opportunity. He has done well here in the past. More importantly, his timing seems spot on in most of the facets of his game.
Brooks Kopeka +103 over Sergio Garcia is the final moneymaker. He has the trio of factors one looks for in a candidate. Big swing with long distance. Is in very good form. Lastly, one gets the impression that he is due. 2x might even be worth the bet here.
Good fortune in our sports investment chances in the PGA this weekend. Rickie Fowler also has everything you need in a candidate if you want to go for a fourth option. Take care today and we will see you tomorrow here at the HRW.
