PGA Wagering : Tips for the Franklin Templeton Shootout 12/10
We play the game out in the sun and mutter to ourselves when we hit the wormburners that roll 50 yards off of the tee. Countless hours at the driving range combined with our love of the game has us at the television every near every weekend to tail most of the events. Now that it is winter, we have the last prime chance to convert our superior golfing knowledge into cash. So join us at HRWager for our impressions on the Franklin Templeton Shootout that starts on December 10th.
Format Breakdown
There are a few unusual aspects that make the FTS an enjoyable event to watch. First off, it is a small field that features two man teams. Secondly, it is a three day event whose format changes everyday. Scramble on Thursday, alternate shot on Friday, and it comes home on Saturday with best ball. The weekdays have coverage on the Golf Channel. Saturday Fox takes us home as they crown a winner. We have formulated who the favorite should be as well as a long shot that has a better value to win then the price they were given by the linesmakers.
Candidates
One half of the defending champions will be back for their 2015 defense. Cameron Tringale will have to do without Jason Day who is out tending to family after the birth of their second child. He gets Chris Kirk as a partner who is in the top forty but has better talent than that. Besides being a good match for Cameron, his talent is above average in comparison to the field. This ironically is your darkhorse as the price went much more to the underdog side since Day bowed out.
Favorite is JD Holmes and Patrick Reed. Holmes is probably the longest player off the tee which is key to a team format. Reed can scramble and has momentum of decent finishes entering this one. Rightly they are the strongest and the favorites but are getting above average value for the future here. So get in those golf investments right now at HRWager. Translate your superior knowledge of the game into cash today. Good fortune and we will see you later on today here at the HRW.
