With their practical chances gone, will the Blazzers give up tonight is our Playoff Basketball tip for 5/11. Game Five is here and the Blazers lost in overtime to effectively remove their remote chances of winning the series. Now far from home, they are going to be witness to a wave of emotion as Steph Curry is handed the MVP trophy. Linemakers also concur that it is over as the spread is on the home team to the tune of -13. Do one of the few teams that overachieved this season finally cry Uncle and get blown out tonight starting with a 10:30PM EST tipoff?
Playoff Basketball Tip : Regained Shooting Touch
Steph Curry had some rust from missing games. Almost all of Game Three was dedicated to getting him back in the swing of things. Once he regained his range, it was lights out from there. He scored 17 points in overtime to slam the door shut on Portland. Now what is even more troublesome is that Portland could not come within 10 in the first two games @ GS and now have to contend with Steph hitting everything. Another double digit win could get out of hand if Portland can not muster the energy to get off the matt tonight.
Supporting Cast Failure Predicted
Look for Lillard to shot and shot some more. He has two players in McCollum and Aminu that have done wonderfully in this series. Aminu is frankly worn out for this one. Now the plan for the Warriors is to take away McCollum. No one man, no matter how talented, can beat the Warriors when healthy and in tune. This is the theory that will propel us all to profit this evening.
HRWager recommends to their client base that they invest on Golden State minus the points for Game Five. Emotion is key in playoff basketball and the Warriors have it all in that key facet tonight. Look for no additional game as Golden State has no compunction in laying off. Good fortune and we will see you on Thursday here at the HRW.
