Clay is a Curious Case
Laugh all you want but he has slung it against the Rays over the course of his career. Ran into the revelation that with ten or more starts, he has the second best ERA of any starter against the Tampa franchise. Problem is that he can not strike many out so the easy at bats are beyond him. Not bad momentum in the last three but can a 4.30 ERA cut it against Archer tonight?
8-2 in their last ten with Clay’s domination of the franchise. Hard to bet against a +110 Boston ML against the sad Rays even with Archer slinging. Do not bet the five inning line on Boston.
