Stanley Cup : Game Five Tampa Bay @ Pittsburgh 5/22

Stanley Cup 5/22

A team in sudden disarray in the Stanley Cup playoffs is still getting -200 level of chalk for Game Five on May 22nd.  Good morning and of course we are talking about the Pittsburgh Penguins.  The name brand that attracts a ton of wagering from the United States.  Perceptions of potency often inflate the price on this team.  Even after getting smacked around in Game Four, this even series in the standings is not so at the ticket window.  Which way will the HRW advise you to invest in this key hockey game Sunday night?

Stanley Cup : No More Murray?!

More that Tampa Bay was very proficient than a complete failure by the rookie goalie in the 4-3 loss.  Head coach of the Pens pulled him after two periods and then they rallied.  Falling short was the worst option as now it muddies the water for this one.  A debate on your starter for the goalie you have is far from ideal for the Stanley Cup favorite.  Injuries are starting to mount for them as well.  Trevor Daley has a lower body injury which will at least slow him down if not see him miss Game Five.

Anywhere near a ML -200?

It is not like Tampa did not have success against Fleury.  Twice during the regular season saw them crush Pittsburgh.  Nine goals the Lightning scored and they chased him out of the net as well.  The final 20 minutes of the last game was more of Tampa trying to take it easy for the big push in Game Five.  It was not pretty but it got the job done.  So it all comes down to either a no bet or one on the road ML dog on Sunday?

Great game to end your weekend with.  Teams that attempt to use the open ice are good for entertainment value.  This is why Pittsburgh stock is usually more pricey in the Stanley Cup.  Here is that exact situation.  Even the oddsmakers are ignoring what happened on the ice.  Go with the road dog Tampa Bay as their price makes it worth it for long term expectation.  Good fortune and we will see you later today here at the HRW.
