Sunday Night MLB Action : Boston at Yankees 5/8

Coaching staff might finally be feeling the pressure in HRWager’s Sunday Night MLB Action.  Joe Giradi’s lack of success for the Yankee’s wins and losses have not lost him his job.  However, the lack of filled seats could cost him his in the dugout.  New York has to continue winning (11-17) else their boring brand of baseball will force fans away.  Tonight they have a chance to sweep the Red Sox (17-13).  Most of the offshore industry agree that New York is a very slight favorite to do so tonight on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball Game of the Week.

Sunday Night MLB : Wright

Sunday Night MLB 5/8

A pitcher that torments the Yankees is also hot in his last three starts.  Steven Wright gets the nod for Boston and he is ideal to staunch the series sweep by New York.  His ERA in two starts against them is 0.69 ERA.  His last three has seen him not suffer from allowing 12 walks.  This is the danger of the knuckleball.  It does not provide the power to be pounded but patient hitters can get on base.  Even with the elevated base on balls numbers, his WHIP is only 1.12.  This might be the change of pace that will aid the Red Sox as the Yankees got eight runs against them on Saturday.

Total is Moving Fast

8 1/2 was the initial bar and the overnight sharp action has pounded it down twice.  First it went to the 8 run mark.  This still did not deter betting as the line is now near Under 8 +100.  All of this flies in the face of having Severino starting for the Yankees.  His numbers are horrid at 0-4 with a 6.31 ERA.  Run support totaling four runs for the entire season makes it even more difficult to tail the Bronx Bombers this evening.

Price difference indicates the very real possibility that Boston will pound the Yankees this evening. RL’s are hovering near +165 on Boston – 1 1/2.  This has gone up since the total has decreased.  While the Red Sox as a coin flip ML is the play, the RL comes through with such frequency that it is more profitable.  Boston Run Line – 1 1/2 +165 is your play of the day.  Good fortune and we will see you tomorrow here at the HRW.
