HRWager’s UFC 199 Free Picks looks to build bankroll momentum for the banner MMA event later on. This pay per view on Saturday has solid fighters with lots of underdog value to sink one’s teeth into. Fox Sports 1 has the prelims at 8PM with the main card being on ppv near 10PM EST. Let us see what Rockhold vs Bisping and other fights have for us here at the HRW.
UFC 199 Free Picks : Two Title Fights
Have to feel for Michael Bisping. Very good win for him over Anderson Silva in Feb. He takes this fight as a replacement for Chris Weidman because of his neck injury. A title shot for the first time in almost a decade. The reality is that Luke Rockhold is a -650 favorite and might be even stronger against Bisping than these odds indicate. If Bisping were not long in the tooth at 37 then one can go for the near +500 in value. Alas Rockhold is in his prime at 31 and even better than when they fought two years earlier. That time was a dismantlement and it should be this time. Parlay Rockhold ML into your other wagers today to get a slightly higher payday from the Octagon.
Cruz vs Faber
Plenty of advantage for the champion in this one. Dominick Cruz has no easy exploits as his defense is above average. High fitness level to handle long hard fights. He has not lost a tussle since 2007 ironically to Faber. Urijah is another older fighter but has kept good form going into this one. Most of his wins are the submission variety from a very good ground game. His grappling skills are decent as well. Dominick has overinflated odds of -450 that should not be bet on. The total in rounds is at 4 1/2 with the over near -230. This is where the other leg of our parlay should be pegged at. Champ dictates pace in this one and he will outpoint Urijah for a dominant decision in the other headliner of the night.
Two excellent title fights. Challengers are advanced in age which will work against both of them. Bipsing ML with the over 4 1/2 from the Cruz Faber fight is where your profit parlay should be pummeled. Good fortune and we will see you on Saturday here at HRWager.
