We Love the New York Rangers on Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air at HRWager today.  For Valentine’s Day, we have an NHL Free Pick to try and recoup the dinner and flowers for those special ladies.  Tonight, the Flyers come to town.  Philadelphia recently snapped an extended MSG losing streak back in November.  With him rested, the starting NYR goalie is ready to reassert his dominance over Philadelphia.  So join us at HRWager as we try to bolster our sports investment bankrolls today.

Strong Home Streak

NHL Puckline 2/14

NYR (31-18-6) has been on a mini streak at home as of late.  7-0-2 does not bode well for visitors.  However, there is a thread that is starting to unravel.  The Kings came to town on Friday and the Rangers let it all go there.  A game tying goal with 30 seconds left led to the overtime loss.  A 5-4 score is very non Ranger like as well.  Have they reached the point of the season where defensive focused teams hit the wall with some short term downward trend?

November 28th

Philadelphia finally came through at MSG with a 3-0 win back in November.  Shayne Gostisbehere has been red hot for the Flyers.  The rookie defenseman has had a point in 11 straight games.  They will need it as the rest of the club has been luke warm in scoring.  Worse yet is that they get Lundqvist for this one to face.  Steve Mason in goal for the Flyers has been up to the challenge so far going 2-0-2 with a 95 percent save percentage against NYR.

Kings got a break in avoiding Henrik who is back for the Rangers.  The opener of -175 has seen some action against the Rangers.  This is good for NYR investors because this goal tender does not need the blanket protection in front of him to excel.  He can stand up to the pressure and not let in soft goals.  With the Rangers scoring well, look for the extra value of the puckline.  – 1 1/2 +170 is the path to profit in this one.  Good fortune and we will see you next time here at HRWager.
