Winnipeg Toronto CFL Free Pick for 8/12

Winnipeg Toronto

Matchup of Winnipeg Toronto has some tongues waging north of the border on the progress of the Blue Bombers (3-4).  Argos are one of the hotter teams at 4-2 and can take the lead in the East with a win tonight.  In the face of this all, the oddsmakers dubbed the home team being the -4 1/2 point favorite.  Early action has been slightly more on Winnipeg driving the Toronto team to -4 for the 7:30 PM start.  Where will the profit come from in this key CFL tilt tonight?

Winnipeg Toronto : Whole Lot of Love

From local press to the Argo’s coach, the Blue Bombers of Winnipeg have been getting a lot of love as of late.  The fight for Mike O’Shea’s job continues with the Blue Bombers on a heater.  Last two games, the outcome was known by the half.  Team flew out to a lead and kept it against Hamilton and Edmonton.  Most pundits agree that the depth of talent for this time is at a higher level than previous years.  Now desperation football can only last so long but with the bye in sight, the Blue Bombers should be able to maintain the momentum and not worry about attrition in this one.

Down to -4

Toronto has own this series the last couple of years but the sharps have judged the momentum of Winnipeg as to a slight grounding of the line.  No turnovers and now they face an average Argo’s defense.  In the battle of substitute quarterbacks, we favor Matt Nichols of Winnipeg over Logan of the Argos.  This is all about the reaction that Mike O’Shea is in danger.  Team could have tanked after 1-4 but they responded to the change at signal caller.

Easy game to call.  Toronto still does not have the home field advantage that they should.  Argos are still prone to turnovers while Winnipeg has shown remarkable improvement.  They might tire out at the end but they should own the first half.  Winnipeg Blue Bombers minus the points for the first half is the Free Pick of the Day.  Good fortune and we will see you later today here at HRWager.
